Your questions, answered

The details couples ask us most before booking their day.

Who stays at the estate during the wedding?
You and your wedding party do. Each property is a luxury vacation rental as well as a venue, so your closest people stay on site for the whole weekend, rehearsal dinner, the ceremony, and a slow morning-after brunch all in one place.
How many guests can you host?
It depends on the estate, from 125 up to 250 guests. The Ever After Estate hosts up to 125; the Great Escapes and Lake Lucy up to 150; the Medina Mansion up to 180 indoors; and Lake Louisa Chateau up to 250. See all of our estates for the full list.
What does a wedding cost?
The wedding event fee runs from $995 to $5,000 depending on the estate and group size, and it’s waived completely when you stay 7 or more nights. The nightly rental is separate and varies by estate and dates.
Can we bring our own caterer and vendors?
Yes. You’re free to bring your own team, and we also keep a list of trusted vendors who know our properties inside out, caterers, tents, tables, chairs, decor and more.
What’s provided, and what do we rent?
The estate gives you the grounds, the lodging for your wedding party, and the ceremony and reception spaces. You bring in the rest, the tent, tables, chairs, linens, catering and decor, and from your first message we help you line up trusted providers who know these properties.
Can we serve alcohol and have a bar?
Yes. You are welcome to serve alcohol and bring in your own bar service. We suggest a licensed, insured bartender, and we can share ones who have poured at our estates before.
What is the plan if it rains?
Every estate has a covered or indoor backup, and many couples add a tent for peace of mind. As your date nears we help you set a weather plan so the day flows beautifully whatever the forecast.
Is there parking for our guests?
Yes, each estate has on-site parking. For larger guest counts we can help you arrange a shuttle or valet so arrivals are easy and the grounds stay uncluttered.
What time does the celebration need to wind down?
Outdoor music usually quiets by 10pm to respect these private settings, and the party can carry on indoors after that. Exact hours vary by estate, so we confirm them with you early.
Do we need event insurance?
We ask couples to carry a simple event liability policy. It is inexpensive, easy to add for the day, and protects you and your vendors. We are happy to share the details.
Who handles setup and cleanup?
You and your vendors set up and break down your decor and rentals, and we share a checklist so nothing is missed. Because the estate is yours for the whole stay, there is no rush to clear out the same night.
Can elderly or less mobile guests get around easily?
Most ceremony and reception areas sit at ground level with firm pathways. Tell us about any guests with mobility needs and we will help you pick the smoothest spaces and arrange close parking.
How far ahead should we book? Is there a minimum stay?
Prime dates book on a first-come basis, so earlier is better. A minimum stay applies (the Ever After Estate, for example, requires 3 or more nights), and staying 7 or more nights waives the event fee.
Can we tour the estate before booking?
Absolutely. Reach out through the contact form and we’ll talk through your date and set up a site visit so you can walk the property in person.
Where are the estates located?
Most are in the Orlando, Florida area on private, lakefront acreage. We also have the Medina Mansion near Cleveland, Ohio for celebrations farther north.
